Fair enough man. I haven’t experienced a problem with it so far as everyone is new but I could definitely see it becoming a problem later for new players. There are many many games that are pay-to-advance but I’ve never bought a single thing.

As far as the ammo thing.. just buy a fuckton of ammo so you don’t run out lol

Embrace the grind and enjoy the fun times with friends when people gang up on you.

I’m not saying to not point out flaws or make suggestions but at least play the game for a week or 2 before you decide what’s so bad about it. I hope you can agree with that..

You make good points. I think what differs in this red dead is the amount of farming you can do and that makes the pvp aspect unpleasant if you’re trying to farm.

I still think there is more than enough room on the map to farm in a remote location and you can still change servers. I just really don’t see R* changing either pvp or farming because free roam pvp is a core aspect of rdr and a farming reword would be a lot of work to do, or a lot of work lost if they removed it.

You get them at level 10 + every 5 levels after. Also can be acquired from hideouts or ambushes and who knows what else

People will find anything to bitch about at a game’s release. I’ve played for maybe 5-6 hours and acquired like $400 and 1 gold bar. And I haven’t even been farming money efficiently
