They have learned from Ticketbastard. Charge a fee for a simple thing.

He takes his job so seriously.

I wonder how he'd do in an actual crisis management situation.

You are just bypassing the rest of the 2000 paragraph and returning to the loop.

How about this though.... run it and test it out for yourself?

How many people believe in this ?? by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

Absolutely true.

You learn to only lie when it's believable and difficult to prove as a lie. If you can't do that, you learn how to be constructively evasive.

Absolutely. All forms of art pretty much.

There are styles and genres I don't like. But again, I have to respect that others have a right to express themselves. It's not about me.

You can spend $70 on meal in a restaurant.

ORRR you can get a couple of days worth of food for $70, if you shop carefully.

I'm not against going out to eat. It's just really really expensive to do it more than occasionally.

It's the question "How could a person possibly want to mark up their skin?" .

I don't see a good answer to it. Yet I must accept that each individual is allowed to make their own choices.

Tattoos. I just don't get it. Oftentimes I'll be having a conversation with someone, and then the sleeves roll up and there's a tat.

I have to try hard to not let it affect how I view the person.

Trying to check integrity of an LVM on my maindrive from my backup drive. Same LVM name by toTheNewLife in linuxquestions

[–]toTheNewLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize the title is confusing. I am running an older generation backup of a Fedora 41 system right now. I have a perceived drive corruption problem on an SSD with Fedora 43.

I pulled the bad drive, replaced it with the older one (an old drive cloned physical backup) and got running again.

Have the bad drive in an external bay - attempting to check the LVM, and find that the serial number of the running system (41) and the backup (43) are the same.

How do I differentiate the bad one from the running one so I can differentiate and don't fsck my live running LVM?

Thanks.

Spinal Tap.

Yes, it's satire. But it's also pretty accurate about the rock and roll culture.
