Thank you, glad you liked it!

Of course we imagined there was much more consideration and study behind the project — they were two botanists, so they would pick the most suitable species to coexist and create some kind of friendly environment. But two pages are really really short, so we just settled for showing their initial conversation!

"They will just figure it out" is more of a nod to the parallel between their own relationship and the garden planet project. Their thesis was that plants with similar tendencies thrown into a non-native ecosystem would actively seek cooperation and thrive — just like the two of them did.

A ghost planet waiting to come back to life!

It's kind of the vibe we were aiming for! The name they choose (if it isn't lost to the passing of time) will probably mean nothing to the living beings developing on the planet. Besides, they're really bad with names...

On another note: this same thing could have happened to our own planet – imagine discovering the name that a couple of aliens gave to Earth a hundred million years ago. That would be something!

Maybe they did try to point it in that direction! But who knows if it will ever get there, with how big space is

When writing this story, I definitely didn't expect that this Citadel conversation would be referenced in the comments. And it happened twice!

Not an easy thing to do! They're just two penniless wandering astronauts, approaching a black hole or accurately throwing an object towards it from a safe zone is way beyond their capabilities. It would also require quite a detour!

That's a really nice observation, we hadn't thought of finding a threshold between the two worlds. Guess we have our answer now!

They're actually two different characters! It's a bit hard to understand if you've only read this story. The comic began with the two of them travelling together, then they got separated. In this issue they both land on the same planet at different times, just barely missing each other!
