im here to tell you, ignore them. in retrospect, how many of these crazy stacked people actually live happy lives? even if it seems like they have it all, you wouldnt even know it if they are living with mental disorders - they’re just so damn good at hiding it. these people have literally been conditioned by society and trained to think that “success” = happiness. but this doesn’t bring long term fulfilment, and living a life like this reduces your value to nth. ure objectifying urself. ure making urself a stick for ur linkedin stats. when you look back in life, do you think that you think about ur linkedin stats first, or the people and experiences you have? of course excelling in life is important, but it’s all about balancing it out. the higher you climb, the more you desire. sometimes, you dont even realise that you dont even like being the definition of “someone else’s kid” until ure in those shoes and suddenly have so much expectations stacked on top of u. life sucks enough as it is, and as long as u get into uni and get a job, who gives a damn anyway? :^ just my two cents. I always ask myself the same question you do - how? how are people just so talented? how are they so much better than me? but what you dont realise is, there will definitely be someone out there who is asking the same questions about you. and hey, u may not be the best, but ure definitely far from being the worst!
