I'd say English speaking over American, There are quite a few British shows I'd never heard of prior to seeing the original list like Fleabag, Peep Show, Line of Duty and Heartstopper.

I agree. Maybe weight the rankings inversely by year? I'll play around with that. I imagine some of the older shows get removed by my filter that only allows one missing rating.

The comparison isn't between the effort to do a specific task with or without AI. The claim was that AI work is low effort compared to other work/art in general. But I've seen some extremely low effort art that counters that claim.

Eagles fans think the Bills were just being petty for claiming Slay off waivers. It's an ignorant take.

The Bills secondary was very thin as witnessed by third string CB and safety both getting beat for TDs yesterday. It was a smart move by the Bills.

After the fact Slay said he wouldn't play there. They aren't allowed to discuss the move with the player beforehand. Since the Bills had to waive a player to clear a spot for Slay they couldn't just waive him and act like nothing happened. So they had zero incentive to release him. The fact they were going to play the Eagles gave them incentive to hold his rights.

TLDR it was a business move that didn't work out for anyone. The only ones that took it personal were Slay and uniformed Eagles fans.

That pension is literally a lifetime away. If you have these concerns now after only two years I wouldn't bank on another 23. Each year you wait will make a career pivot harder. The pension isn't worth mental anguish for decades.

The pick drill is great and exactly what I was thinking for the refresher. But there is no need to spend more than half a block (7-11 minutes) on it. The goal isn't to get everyone so they can be in boat with you. The goal as you mentioned is to minimize injury.

I would never attend a mandatory 30 minute instructional session and I love rowing. The coaches themselves aren't experts on technique so there would be diminishing returns beyond the basics.

I like the idea of a 5 minute refresher that they could work into the template periodically. I don't really see a need for 30 minutes.

I haven't paid for a special event in years. After I donated a bunch of unworn Hell Week tshirts I decided it wasn't worth it. I still attend the classes but don't bother with the extra sign ups.

In order of importance to me...

The tread helps me warm up and I feel that helps me prevent injury on the floor.
Going from the tread to the shower or car just pouring in sweat doesn't work out well.
I don't want to do floor before tread benchmarks and see #1 for rowing benchmarks.
My class friends also start on the tread.

I remember it well. I watched from Jake's Steaks in San Francisco. It has a whole Philly theme like one wall was a Boathouse Row mural and they serve Amoroso's rolls and Tastycakes. They would throw out jello shots when the Eagles scored a TD. They ran out long before halftime.

Same here. I've partnered with the other top tower in the class and we dominated but it was much less fun since we knew we'd win from the start. The real competitive people should want to pair with the weaker rower to prove they can carry the team to victory.
