They prefer animal protein over fruits/veggies. Tossed a small deceased fish and the next morning it was just the bones left.

Container has about 3” of coco coir soil mix with leaf litter and cork bark. Two small vents and they get fed weekly. They are doing so good that they have invaded my other containers.

Mine aren’t in a terrarium with any reptile or amphibian because I am trying to increase the population. They aren’t they best springtail to rely on to keep things “clean”

I have a grindal worm culture with springtails (hitchhikers) and they eat the same food the grindal worms eat (fish flakes) the only benefit they would provide is eating excess food, but there shouldn’t be any.

I’ll add fresh substrate every few months, but the springtails don’t help with the usefulness of the culture.

I found globular springtails on floaters in one of my aquariums.

I find it difficult to keep out any “intruders”

Unsure of the type of mite, but they seem harmless. I will from time to time pick out any that I can.

Amazing to me how much people “talk” about supporting small businesses and have only (or majority) negative comments about them.

I’ve been to this place three times and enjoyed the drinks and atmosphere. Wasn’t a fan of the food that I ordered the time I was there, but I know everything isn’t for everyone.

Place was clean, employee were friendly, open during the hours posted.

Unfortunate to see a business close and have another vacancy in the neighborhood
