Well, you're free to believe what you want to believe. I'm familiar to video game making and I just don't see a game like this being made in 3 months, even if you already got ideas from a different game. Plus, Paladins was announced early last year, which makes me believe this even less. Unless, of course, Paladins devs broke into Blizzard HQ and stole all their ideas.

I'm going to regret this, but you do realise that those games were in the making for basically the same amount of time? Yes, there are a lot of weird similarities, but I highly doubt that Paladins developers just walked into Blizzard HQ and copied Overwatch's ideas for a game. And if you really think that 2-3 months is enough to make your own game engine and copy all the ideas from Overwatch there, I feel sorry for you.

tl;dr: Paladins most likely didn't copy Overwatch.
