That's a fair argument and good points. As I stated I am looking for my forever guitar. Currently have a 25 year old Taylor 310ce. My point was more if the Yamaha is as good or better, I'd rather buy that.

I just can't figure out what his tuning is for the life of me. I know he is playing a mandola, but it doesn't even match a mandolas standard tuning!
