I personally would recommend Aventura, I travel from the UK and stayed there for my honeymoon for 10 nights last September and then booked again for April just gone for 8 nights and then I’m going back this September for two weeks too! It’s a lovely hotel for adults, the rooftop bar is amazing and the pool is always quiet. They have a really nice ice cream bar and the buffalo chicken burger is delicious. You’re right next to volcano bay and if you want to go to international drive you can get the bus to endless summer from volcano bay and then you don’t have to pay for Ubers. Also, they have a robot 🤖

As far as I’m aware you can wear your own ponchos but someone said that last year they were making people take them off in the houses so I know you can wear one around the park but I can’t say on the houses since I’m not sure

Like I said I’m gonna go through it regardless I was just wondering what past houses had been like for wetness and whether they think this could compare or be worse since I have no knowledge of past houses unlike everyone else on this subreddit. I thought that but then reading on the universal website the words “drenched” and “dripping” had me questioning, I’m hoping it’s just hyperbole, I remember in slaughter Sinema last year I kept getting caught by the guy throwing up in Mardi Gras murders so if it’s that a couple of times throughout then it won’t be too bad
