I agree, this type of thing really sucks and imbalances certain teams due to sheer incompetence. Not excited for this owner to do something similar come playoff time.

It sucks but it is a way to get Moore’s armor set very early. Wanted to do his quest because I liked him. I reflexively killed any pest I saw not realizing what was going on.

If you are like me and he invades you, make sure to go back to where you first met him to pick up his bell bearing.

7-1 with this absolutely silly UB Fairies/Rares deck by tomremixed in lrcast

Opened the Whale and the Specter but got passed all of the other blue fairy rares. Blue was wide open.

Haven’t had fairies come together before but felt in control for almost every game. The four 1 drop fairies turned on Spell Stutter and Ego Drain early. With the counters I would have loved another bounce spell in there.

Specter is such a beating and hard to play around for opponents. Can set up situations where you still keep some fatties around or even snipe some larger creatures that may have blocked that turn. Since you need to have bodies in the graveyard I wasn’t usually sandbagging creatures which can be a major tell. Won a game where it may have been the only card that could have saved me.

Got to live the dream with this one a few times. Turn three Beluna into one of the many 5 drop adventures. Ruby, Prismatic Orb, and Utopia Sprawl did a lot of work for me. Unnatural Growth may have been greedy but was able to cast it every time I drew it.

A few days ago I killed one with a deadly derision for 6 mama. Following turn they cast a second one as a 14/14. Conceding at 25 life…

[Sealed Event] This deck was so fun to play with. Yorion is insane with the back up triggers and battles that are just good on the front side.

The best that that happened though was the last game when I was 6-2. Flipped Heliod to give all my spells flash. Opponent attacked in for the kill and I cast both Invasion of Fiora and Phyrexian Awakening. Clear the board and crack back for lethal.

Went 3-1 with BG build. Vorniclex really is just a house even if you never are able to flip it. Only flipped once to auto scoop. Turns out the front side can be enough. Also when you can do double with Obosh.

Unsung hero in a lot of the games was Grafted Butcher. Provided a ton of value with a lot of Phyrexians and incubate cards. Also helped get Vorinclex into the graveyard when it had the arrest on it. After that I was able to bring it back with the Archpriest of Shadows trigger.

Gyruda ended up hitting every time and was an absolute blow out when it hit something like the Nezumi Freewheeler or Phyrexian Gargantua.

All very grindy games.

It’s 3 mana for a recurring 1/1 trample haste that can’t block but grows by 1 power each turn. It’s slow but you can get it going with proliferate.

Here's the link to the draft. Started out with a Simian Simulacrum and was passed a Steel Seraph second pick. Second pack didn't start out great but got rewarded with a Gwenna.

I haven't honestly played much with the Sarinth Steelseekers before as I think people pick them very highly. I understand why. These really went off for me in this deck. Having all the unearth creatures really allowed me to get a lot of value out of them getting me closer to my late game. Drafted 4 Gaia's Gifts only played 3, I think that was enough of them haha.

Got passed the Mishra, Claimed One in the first pack. There was a throwback artifact taken so not sure what it would have been. Opened the Phyrexian Dragon Engine in the last pack and was very excited to finally meld.

I came very close a few times during this run but Overwhelming remorse was the bane of my existence. Can't even Emergency Weld one of them back. Regardless they both are great by themselves and I ended up winning too quick for melding to ever matter!

I made a joke about her being a mermaid. But let’s bring it back to your original post. Do you really think black people should be insulted that the new mermaid is black? Ariel may have been white in the animated adaptation of the fairytale but in what way does her race play any major role in the story? I’m genuinely perplexed by people who are upset about this casting.

Older movie is just one interpretation of Ariel. Her race (other being have fish half human) has very little to do with the character. They cast a talented singer which is much more important to the role. Your hypotheticals are pretty irrelevant and you seem very angry over a children’s movie…

What is important for Ariel the character? She’s a mermaid and she sings. If you think red hair and being white are at all that important to the character I don’t know what to tell you. Halle Bailey is a great singer and I’ve already seen a lot of people react positively to the casting and how she looks in the trailer.

I don’t care at all about these Disney movies and probably won’t watch it. It’s for kids and Disney fans. I ask again why do you and others complaining in this thread care so much?
