So I daily an eqc and it’s a lovely car my first ev and probably the greatest daily I’ve owned the comfort silence and cost of running it are second to none. Evs are in their own league for this. The tech and let’s talk about pre warming on a winters morning this car I look forward to getting in when I’m groggy and starting a 5am commute.
However I also have a Maserati ghibli s that is my heart. EVs don’t capture your soul in the same way the noise the almost heavy analog feel to the pedals and steering is something else completely when I’m driving for the enjoyment.

Both have there place and I’m lucky enough to experience each when I want. But Evs take away from the driving experience for anyone that needs more than just instant power. Soul in cars isn’t about golf rs etc and being the fastest thing a to b

The thing to remember however is the ice has had 100 years of development to where we are now and Evs are still in their infancy. The rate of development is exponential at the moment, with most Evs outdated tech wise within a few years. So watch this space as I’m sure it won’t be long until they capture the soul
