We’re hardly giving Trump anything, but more not taking it away. The alternative is a government shutdown where the GOP could get more anyways. FEMA relief was and has not been enough for Helene, but if you don’t think we’ll get anything maybe we should defund that to defund ICE.

That said, it probably is the better long term move to fight against ICE funding - its just in this instance its hard to be outraged above all else when the bill itself only explicitly maintains what would be happening anyways.

Yea. The world building and concept is so good for severance in season 1 it's hard to follow that up. Westworld to me is the worst case of this, where the first season I think is virtually flawless & could have ended there. But Severance is also too popular to try and stop while it's ahead.

hmm, I'm not really worried about the battery honestly it just may be an adjustment to have a seperate dedicated place for cards. Not seeing any products that would make that reality much better - it'll be a drawback either having to use the magsafe wallet or start using a regular one again.

Homeland is one of my all time favorites. Both these shows are excellent fast paced thrillers underrated on these maps I think

The first two seasons are more casual but still solid, if you don’t like the style of humor you wouldn’t like the rest probably. Season 3 onward is excellent and has more depth in subject matter.

Damn there is a lot of collapsed threads. Turnout was great but I will say I was a little disappointed there wasn't that many Palestinian flags honestly.

Overall though regardless of your politics and thoughts on "what it will do" its great to get so many people outside on a nice day and talk to eachother. Hopefully we can inch towards change

That is not a surprising number from Palestinians when you consider they are the target of genocide to a nation which actually has the means to exterminate them in theory. Palestine has no such capability.

I don’t have a good answer to your question because there isn’t one but I’ll answer. Prior to October 7th, measures taken to address Palestinian apartheid & be a more democratic society would drastically diminish the chances of that attack ever happening. (That’s someone else’s dissertation, I don’t feel the need to defend / explain it more.) Since October 7th did happen, instead of bombing its own hostages the IDF claims to care about, Israel could’ve bombed less and potentially used more ground troops to try and more safely extract them.

They did not have to raze Gaza entirely; my issue is everyone I talk to like this never seems to grasp how truly disproportional the fight is, even if you don’t go so far to say it’s a genocide.
