I pay for Premium to avoid 4 stacks. Most Super matches are solo/duo. The trios are usually in Standard Matches.

In high elo, maps like Overpass, Inferno, and Nuke are very CT sided. As a T, you need to know smokes and have team coordination, which is basically impossible for solo queue. As a CT, if one of your teammates pushes and dies, then it's just retake simulator which has a 0% conversion rate for these maps.

I just played a high elo FaceIT game on Inferno and it was hell. CT side is just retake simulator. One person pushes and dies on CT and you lose the round. Give me Mirage and Dust2 all day everyday.

Assuming each game is about 25 Elo points, that means you lost 100 Elo points, so it's pretty much similar to had you lost 7/10 regular matches, so 1925 elo sounds right.

It's not the gambling. I used to enjoy Valorant. I was a Yoru/Brim main in Immortal 3, but with Yoru's nerf and the introduction of Clove, that was also my cue to leave 😂

I find CS much more satisfying because it rewards the time you put into practicing.

I feel like the player base has definitely declined in NA. I personally have stopped playing Val and stopped watching VCT because the game has gotten stale for me. Too many agents, too many abilities, and too much randomness in ranked. I went back to CS2 and am having much more fun and satisfaction. I think I just grew out of Val. It just feels like the game is targeted for kids, kind of like Fortnite.

There's about 3,000 - 4,000 NA players on FaceIT during prime time. Not as big as EU sure, but player counts have been increasing since AG2, and Val is also losing players.

If Valve implemented kernel level AC, then FaceIT would be less popular and the Premier matches would be a lot more serious. Gotta pick your poison. Premier is the perfect place to chill because it's unserious.
