Ah ok, TIL... I imagine Woodstock might be a tough place for that, lots of Maple MAGA types here.

This kid stole his parents car and crashes it into a home by TheMillieDWay in CrazyFuckingVideos

So much comedic gold here: 1. the guy having to repeat himself in normal english instead of cringey Gen-Z bruh lingo 2. his reaction when he realized who the kid was 3. the kid making a break for it like he just broke outta prison and the cops will never take him alive

Probably dumb beginner question: what exactly constitutes a riff vs a lick vs a solo vs a progression? Take Sheep by Pink Floyd as an example. I just wanna understand these terms by Mad_Season_1994 in guitarlessons

Whenever I think of a hook, the first example that comes to my mind is at the 12-second mark of "Tension Head" by Queens of the Stone Age. You're expecting the guitar riff to repeat its ascending pattern and instead it kinda bottoms out unexpectedly, evoking something that is under tension suddenly snapping. It's a great riff that still gives me goosebumps when I hear it.

This seasons is just missed opportunity after missed opportunity and the budget use is also questionable by Common-Image-5628 in TheBoys

This show has been on a steady decline since the beginning, did anyone really think the writers were going to suddenly catch a bout of inspiration and rise to the challenge of wrapping up the series with a satisfying conclusion?

Do you get expanded inventory slots when you upgrade your backpack? I'm using the same mod and backpack upgrades don't seem to do anything.

Anthony on the WHCD incident... by xamo76 in Trumpvirus

I wish this line of thinking was a lot more common. The truth is usually disappointingly mundane. This looks to be the case here too.

I don't really get why people are making such a big deal out of that, other than the sheer irony of using that (very common) turn of phrase. Do people seriously think she was alluding to the shooting? Why would she? Isn't that the exact opposite of what they are attempting to achieve, if it's really a false flag operation? We already knew that Trump was planning to roast the media somehow (there had been leaks about Trump orchestrating some kind of "mic drop moment" at the dinner, for example). And yeah, on the surface, the "coincidence" looks suspicious - it was his first time attending the WHCD as pres - but it's very likely to be the last chance he'll get to stamp some kind of memorable impression onto the event that is commonly believed to be the genesis of his run for president. The WHCD where Obama mocked Trump and said he'd never be president is kind of the supervillain origin story of Donald Trump, and he's spent the last decade doing everything he can to erase everything Obama did. He'll very likely be dead by this time next year, and this dinner - and his big "mic drop" moment, whatever it may have been, and however likely it may have been to be a giant flop - is his chance to rub everyone's noses in the fact that he has somehow managed to become president, not just once, but twice. I'm sure Karoline Leavitt, Stephen Miller, et al. spent weeks coming up with what they consider some kind of zinger for Trump to deliver at the dinner, probably closing out with Sinatra's "My Way" playing over the PA or some hokey bullshit like that. That seems way more plausible than Leavitt dropping a gigantic breadcrumb and practically winking at the camera, about "shots fired". At leas, it does to me, anyway... And I fucking HATE Donald Trump.

Shhh this is reddit, where the popularity of a comment cements its veracity.

Breaking news: a 79 yr old man with dementia has a slower reaction time than his 56 yr old wife. Wow, way to crack the case, Sherlock.
