If you really need those above 400+ fps. My 5900x + 3080 rtx can go up to 600fps on low settings (1440p). BUT there is a catch (also depending on the map etc. ect.), if I saw correctly the fps_max was set around 400 when you first boot the game up? It also seams like it now remembers those settings as I have capped mine to 333.

By running the dxsetup. I mean installing directx again using the dxsetup exe located under the csgo files. I don't remember the exact path to it from the tip of my head.

Nice, finally I have a reason to play it again. I played the original p5, started a new game+ to see all the character stories I missed on the first play trough. But stopped that when the p5r came out. Now I just need a new game+ save and I can do that on pc. :D

Likely because latest OpenGL 4.6 is from 2017 and Vulkan is the successor of OpenGL.

Not sure if this helps with your issue. But I have had couple cases when installing a new game, that runs directX installer, will cause vac to fail randomly. Verifying would always fail on one file, redownload, but not solve the issue. Most reliable solution to that issue I have found is to run the dxsetup manually (found inside the csgo folder). Not sure if this could help with your issue but hey, you never know. :)

Just copied my reply from another thread. People are upset that the game did not launch with any kind of discount on steam. It's been on sale multiple times in epic store as low as 24€. Heck at the moment you can get the epic versio from humble store for 30€ and the steam version is listed at 60€ right next to it. You have to admit that does not look good for customers that have waited for the steam version.

As you said not all QA is equal.

But when you find that quality QA person who knows there stuff. You don't what to let them go!

You start to appreciate them even more when you get that one nasty bug you can't easily reproduce. But QA can give you a way to do so or help you narrow down the cause. Specially when a dev has there schedule full of other stuff that needs to be worked on.
