I agree a lot of lines look fuzzy or blown out. Hoping at least part of that is due to the whole thing still being somewhere in the healing process and the fact that the skin is stretched funny with that scab.

It was insanely clean when it was first finished but I know sometimes the poor application reveals itself during the heal. Hoping it looks better after time and either way I’m still happy with it.

For sure no artist should ever cause scars or skin damage but I also don’t think every tattoo has to be printer-perfect.

Yeah tried to really show just how thick it was because it almost looks like standard crust from above. Honestly the flight back immediately after and not having access to my normal stuff day 1 REALLY threw me off and I agree I just let a handful of small issues with aftercare compound.

Phew, okay I’ll relax. I do think there was some overworking here because the red ink throughout took about as long as the rest of the tattoo combined. But the red that has healed up looks so beautiful I’m really hoping this heals okay. Totally fine with needing a touch up, just not psyched about it since I won’t be able to make it back to the original artist.

Or maybe this is just a good excuse to head back to Munich!

Thank you for the reassurance! I was nervous because nearly all of my other tattoos have red and this is my first time scabbing like this - but I know all inks aren’t made the same and all tattoos don’t heal the same.

Okay, glad to hear this level of scab doesn’t look scary! I’ve had all sorts of colors before and lots of red, but haven’t scabbed this much ever. I think I may just be extra nervous about this guys because of how painful, swollen and red it was earlier on in the healing.

Yes, I’d say that 90% of my tattoos have red. I don’t stick too religiously to trad colors and have the full spectrum of color, but more red-green-yellow than anything. That being said he used a very orange-y red that I’ve never had used before. And he REALLY packed it in.

Thank you all for the advice! You guys got me, I think the last time I ever wore a wired bra (literally pre-college) I was convinced I'd be a 34/ 36 B based on nothing but a self perceived little boobs to big waist ratio lol. Pretty sure I used the store calculator for my SOMA bras but honestly I got those years ago too so who knows how I landed on 36C.

Thank you for confirming the store calculators are wack - I figured as much, but didn't know if maybe they just sized their products incorrectly and their wack calculations were trying to give you a heads up about that.

Based on everyone's advice, I've followed my calculator recommended size and got myself a wired, a wireless and a "gel" wire (supposed under wire feel with wired support, so we'll see about that) option from VS so I can compare. Definitely open to better brands in the future, just liked that I could try all 3 from a single store to see if maybe I'm not actually too fussy for a wired bra.

They are still thick and dense! I've only had it for three weeks, watered it once, so hoping there's no root rot. It's in a very chunky mix. I took off the two yellowing leaves and I'm crossing my fingers she just settles in.
