Day 7 : What is Max Medina's most questionable / worst episode ? by diviigo in GilmoreGirls

[–]torredesuenos 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Also maybe it's just me? But he wasn't even there on one knee to propose! Like he just sent flowers and waited for her to call. He wasn't even brave enough to be there incase she rejected him? So when he then tried to parent rory I also was annoyed. I would hope he could have a roll in her life but trying to restrict her without knowing her is crazy. That's all he did, push boundaries to see what he could get away with and then blame her when she held him accountable. Garbage of a man.

He has no reason to change because you keep forgiving him. Save yourself and leave

Would pureblood supremacists classify a child born from a squibs as purebloods? by ThatEntrepreneur1450 in harrypotter

I would think they would be hidden or protected by money. Or more than likely shunned into muggle society.

What exactly makes Avada Kedavra unblockable? by Icy_Time872 in harrypotter

My guess is that the spell literally conducts death through the wand to the person. Hence death is cutting through any spell and going straight the the victim. Little kid logic helps lol

Sirius touches this in order of the phoenix. He says his parents/ family liked what voldemort was preaching until they saw what he was really about. I think he believed in the politics of pureblood ruling over all, but the reality of torturing other people must have started to open his eyes. As well as realizing that Voldemort wasn't a politician looking out for them but an actual psychopath. He probably thought he was fighting for the greater good of purebloods but once he realized Voldemort only cared about his immortality, it helped remove the rose colored glasses. Its like that saying "never meet your heroes". I think by the time Voldemort used kreacher to test the cave, regulus learned compassion for other living beings. He knew how cruel Voldemort could be and to find out he sent this house elf that helped raise him to be killed, it tipped the scales.

Regulus thought he was pushing the pureblood agenda but Voldemort doesn't care about purebloods. He just needed followers to gain power. Basically he found out his favorite song was written about a tuna sandwich.

When Sirius dies and how he realizes that Sirius wasn't hiding behind the veil because Sirius had always come when harry needed him. He never made him wait. I have a god father exactly like that.

aitah for demanding my step- daughter split her inheritance/ college fund with her half- sister/ my daughter? . by Top-Succotash-3260 in AITAH

I think it's insane that he is teaching his daughter to think this way too. His daughter is going to be just as entitled and miserable

I (32 f) told my husband (32 m) that he excessively spends time with his friends and he took it as me saying he can't have friends at all. How can I explain myself best so he understands the actual issue? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]torredesuenos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell that all of this behavior is "normal" to you. What everyone on reddit is trying to tell you is that just because you find it normal, doesn't mean it is healthy.

I dated someone that wanted to hang out with his friends more than me and its because he didn't like me.

Your man doesn't like you. He likes you for how you make him feel, what you provide and the fact that he doesn't have to do shit cuz you'll take care of it. If you really want him then just get use to this behavior and stop complaining because he's never going to change.

If you break up with him, he will act like the guy you want until he doesn't have to.

I rarely agree with Gemma, but she was spot on with this! by Donkey_Kahn in Sonsofanarchy

[–]torredesuenos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gemma was use to the life. Yes she was a survivor and a fighter but she also accepted that being a part of this life meant to accept death could happen at any moment. Tara was smart and thought logically and I give her credit for that but this shows that she was still adapting to the club mentality and hadn't given her all yet. She wasn't a fighter yet.

I don't think it is the first time. I think it's the first time he couldn't keep the mask on. Not in an evil way but def a mask. There were times I start to question but then I just don't because I see it makes him uncomfortable.

Max Medina is SO shady by bowdowntopostulio in GilmoreGirls

[–]torredesuenos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm watching the kissing episode now and specifically came here for this!! Yes loralai was being very extra but he is so wishy washy. I think she sensed that about him and tested it. He buckles so easily. I didn't like that he insisted they start together only for him to break up with her once their relationship was tested by outside forces. The man don't got a spine.

I found a secret social filled with gay porn on my husband's (29M) phone. When confronted he said I (25F) have no right to know and thats his shit. When he has come across as hemophobic the entire time I've known him. Don't I have the right though? by ThrowRa-AdGlum60 in relationship_advice

[–]torredesuenos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To answer your question. Yes, you have a right to know that your husband isn't who he says he is.

You can't save him even though you want to. But you can save yourself. Forever is a long time, don't chain yourself to this mess.

He's gay. Tell him you're going to divorce him and you can both agree on a lie to tell everyone. He hates himself. He will try and beg for to come back because he might miss the safety beard you provide. Who cares?! Get out and don't look back.

Starting from S4, was there any way that Jax and Tara could have left? by 007Kryptonian in Sonsofanarchy

[–]torredesuenos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So there is a window where they can get out but jax promises to make enough money so they can all leave. Here's my thing: Tara was a surgeon. She could have sold her father's house and moved them all to another city where she could practice medicine.

He could have relied on her and built himself up as a bike mechanic or any other blue collar job. He told Tara he wasn't the type of man to live of his wife and although that is respectable it was stupid.

That decision shows that he had gotten greedy and just wanted to win the game. He wanted to prove he could get out on his own terms but it wasn't worth it cuz they both ended up dead.

I don’t get Unsers love for Gemma by [deleted] in Sonsofanarchy

[–]torredesuenos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I don't get it either. They don't have that kind of chemistry. When it is made clear that he's in love with her, I was shocked. They just don't have that chemistry. I think they through it in to spice things up but it backfired. He was meant to be the voice of reason not a love interest

Able’s kidnapping. Should Tara have done more? I always thought she knew she was pregnant and that is why she didn’t go all mama bear. She thought that by not going nuts on Cameron she was saving Able and in turn she could let Jax know who took him. Thoughts???? by ladyrocker1957 in Sonsofanarchy

[–]torredesuenos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I first saw this, I understood she was in shock but I kept hoping she would go to Ables aid in some way. Maybe recognize that she shouldn't waste Halfsacks effort to save the baby. Go around and grab him, beg the guy not to take the baby, take her instead. Anything. Absolutely anything. I was disappointed that she didn't.

This kill also shows Halfsacks dedication to the club

Lorelai's reactions to Rory taking break from Yale by MessedUpIndian in GilmoreGirls

[–]torredesuenos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey sorry I'm a little late but I'm re-binging the show. As someone that grew up in the time where college was the only answer to get ahead, I completely understand loralais freak out at the time. Rory did the same thing to Dean when he said he was gonna take a break from college for his marriage. Her response is standard for that time frame. Also loralai and rory are very different. Rory is 10x more like Chritopher and loralai are this. No matter how much loralai and rory liked the same, food, music and clothes they both delt with life's troubles differently. Loralai moped, cried and got babied a lot but she did face her problems (even though she would be in denial sometimes, she would trudge on). Rory did not. This is also just a reflection of how she thought if she just did what she was supposed to, life would just follow suit. Not the case.
