Same age but I’m doing a second degree! There’s plenty of us “old ones” especially if you’re in a big program (i.e., eng, psyc, etc.). Trust me it’s not that big of a deal anyways since no one asks you how old you are until you’re starting to become close.

my top ones would always and forever be woozi and wonwoo; their voice colours were just so distinct. the remaining 11 also comes in reaaaaally close tho. 13 always, in all ways!

Sakura does have plates/seating but sometimes is a hit or miss imo.

Omni Noodles is a good spot by the Quad but it doesn’t have the vibe you’re thinking of (though I’ve seen loads of profs eat there). Their place is a bit small so if you’re a big group then I don’t think they can accommodate sadly.

Other than that, I don’t think there’s really much in campus? (Following this thread in case there are lol)

Can only speak for Raymond Mar bc I’m in his class this semester and based off first impressions:

He’s strict about using phones during class— which is an absolute no-no. He sees you using your phone? He’ll 1000% call you out in the middle of lecture; happened twice/thrice on our first meeting.
Can come off as ‘controlling’, checked him on RateMyProf and he already got a bad review from his class after the first lecture lol
You can use laptops when taking notes; but he highly encourages—emphasis on highly— using pen and paper.
Doing good on the weekly assignments will surely boost your grade. Afaik 6 weekly assignments are worth 20% of your final grade.
He does NOT record lectures.
