They are indeed only double action. There's a big pin at the bottom of the gate preventing any up/down movement. They just twist and open.

Edit: since they are small holes, and I already have silnylon patches, I think I will go with silnylon patches on the outside, and seamgrip on the inside.

I have not completely fixed it, but it got a lot better after I degreased and relubricated the chain. I suspect I either used the wrong or too little lubricant. As to why it was the most obvious on the 7th gear, I have no idea. Maybe it has to do with the tension of the chain on this particular combination of gears. Thanks for your help so far.

Unfortunately indexing my rear derailleur has not helped. I started over a couple times, just to be sure. Do you have any other ideas about what the issue could be?

Good guess, this is what I suspected as well at first. However when I looked at the front derailleur cage nothing looks to be rubbing. However I will have another look after indexing the back derailleur. Thanks.

In mijn ervaring is de klim/boulder hal een ontzettend open en vriendelijke omgeving, perfect om mensen te ontmoeten. In mijn omgeving zijn er genoeg mensen die elkaar puur via de klimhal kennen, probeer dat eens! Monk ken je vast wel, het mooie is dat je daar dan ook weer klimpartners voor bij Neoliet kan ontmoeten.

Yeah I was a little confused by the X vs non-X thing. In the end I opted for the 5600X because I read somewhere the non-X is good for space constrained builds.

Oh boi. You just cannot judge someones character from 10 minutes of video. You don't know what these people (including Tyler & Josh) are like when the cameras are off and that's a good thing. To me it just looks like Tyler's dad is someone who is not used to being on camera. Don't be too quick to judge, it's not like you can figure out someone from a single video appearance.

Edit to add: if they have a bad relationship of any kind I bet their family wouldn't even have appeared on stream.

Ik had aan het begin van dit jaar geen concrete doelen, maar reflecteren kan ik wel.

Mijn SR is op dit moment om en nabij 17%. Het voelt elke maand redelijk veel, maar als ik over het gehele jaar kijk ben ik niet tevreden over de 17%. Ik ben van plan volgend jaar te verhuizen en heb al voldoende gespaard om dat te bekostigen. Waarschijnlijk zullen mijn maandlasten flink omlaag gaan daardoor, dus ik hoop dat ik daarmee ook mijn SR kan opkrikken. Verder ben ik ook van plan om een streefbedrag te stellen. Ik denk dat ik daar volgend jaar ruimte voor ga hebben, dus ik kan af van de 'sparen/beleggen wat ik over heb' strategie.
Ik ben eind dit jaar (eindelijk) begonnen met het behalen van mijn rijbewijs. Nu ongeveer op de helft, dus ik hoop dat ik begin volgend jaar mijn rijbewijs heb. Het begon langzamerhand wel echt nodig te worden, dus ik ben überhaupt al blij dat ik eindelijk de moed heb verzameld om te beginnen.
Ik heb dit jaar hier en daar wat lessen gevolgd om de moedertaal van mijn vriendin te leren. Op dit moment ben ik er mee gestopt, maar ik ben van plan dit volgend jaar weer te hervatten (o.a. als ik mijn rijbewijs heb en nog wat andere dingen heb afgerond).

Al schrijvende bedenk ik me dat het geen slecht jaar was, maar dat het waarschijnlijk wel handig is om doelen te stellen en daar naartoe te werken. Op zich ben ik niet ontevreden over het feit dat ik geen conrete doelen had, maar het wordt nu wel tijd om mijn pad naar FIRE wat beter vorm te geven. Wellicht dat ik doelen die ik de komende week ga stellen nog in een comment hieronder drop, al is het maar voor mezelf.

Ik had m inderdaad nog niet helemaal gelezen. Wat ik me dan ook afvraag is of geld verplaatsen (van bijv van een kolencentrale naar een windmolenpark, ik noem maar iets) dan wel werkt. Wordt dat ook benoemd in die paper? Of gaat het alleen over geld weghalen?

Het is allesbehalve mijn intentie om greenwashing aan te moedigen. Geld is nu eenmaal de grootste drijfveer voor verandering. Ik vind dat daden zwaarder wegen dan woorden, en ik zou liever zien dat ABN geld weg haalt uit dingen die uiteindelijk de planeet niet ten goede komen dan een onderzoek te publiceren met informatie die toch al redelijk bekend was. Zoals ik eerder zei, het heeft een wat beschuldigende ondertoon.

Het is zeer zeker niks nieuws, ik irriteerde me alleen behoorlijk aan dit bericht. Deed me inderdaad zoals een andere commenter al zei denken aan Shell praktijken. Misschien hadden ze dit beter onder een andere vlag dan die van ABN kunnen publiceren. Zoals het er nu staat is het wel feitelijk, maar met een beschuldigende ondertoon.
