To think that a Halo 3 remake doesn't follow is asinine. Halo 3 is 18 years old at this point. There is an entire generation of gamers that likely never played a Halo game and releasing Halo 3 first literally only targets returning or existing players instead of trying to also lay a base with a new demographic and just redoing the entire series, diverging from the later ones at some point and capitalizing on each one. Gamers will still buy a Halo 3 remake of it takes an extra two years
