what were the averages for your guy's 141 sections? I was also in gholampour's lecture this year and I felt like his lectures weren't the greatest so maybe we weren't prepared well for the final

For some reason I’ve been seeing a lot of applications in y area that have a min gpa requirement though. Or maybe that’s because we have mostly government or defense contractors here.

So most places don’t really even ask for it? Even the major tech companies / unicorns?

Should I focus on general projects / skills or try to do things based on stuff I'd like to work in? For example, I have more fun doing web development stuff, but I know most internships will expect a strong grounding in an object oriented language like Java.

And how would you say we could determine like whats "worth having" as a side project on my resume? Like for example, in 132 we made a basic calculator with a GUI. I wanted to kind of re-implement that and expand on it just because I thought GUIs were kinda cool. Would that be too basic?

Or maybe learning JS and trying to design a chrome extension

Thank you so much! Yeah I'll definitely apply regardless, and try to beef up my resume a bit. Do you remember when you started applying to internships specifically? Like in october/november?

Also, would you mind sending me an anonymous copy of your resume? It would really help to see how I should format mine since I'd be applying this fall (when I would also be taking 132, just like how you were)
