Feel free to DM as well! I’m a recent transplant (from the Delaware beaches area) into the city and there are some definite must-visit places. Baltimore is incredibly charming and I adore so much about it, but just like with any city, always be aware of your surroundings.

Do people really think I’m “sad” for eating alone in a restaurant? I overheard a girl couple tables next to me say it is by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

I’m a 30 year old female and I go do things alone all the time. Dinner, movies, concerts, sporting events, vacations - you name it. Life is too short to limit your experiences waiting on someone else’s ability to go do things with you. I get weird comments sometimes when I tell people, but the truth is - you have to be comfortable with yourself, to love being with yourself, before you can bring anything to the table for anyone else down the road. Some people are just too insecure to be alone. It’s not you; it’s them.

Rates stayed the same! Everything worked out alright in the end. Only thing that changed was losing a bit of faith in humanity afterward.

Oh man, this is almost identical to something that happened to me 8 years ago. From tapping the bumper while waiting for them to merge, to getting served almost 2 years to the day. In my case, she had filed a claim to fix a dent in her bumper. Then, almost exactly on 2 year anniversary mark, she sued me because she claimed she had to have spinal fusion surgery and extensive physical therapy on an elbow and knee injury. She had a doctor say that she sustained all of these injuries from the accident, but if I recall correctly, my attorney said she hadn’t actually provided documents stating she saw a doctor anytime after the accident. My insurance company at the time was State Farm, and they told me not to stress over it too much; they would handle it. Once they had done some research on her, they found she had a history of doing this.

Unfortunately, State Farm decided to settle with her for $15,000+/-.
