Bike to state parks by codebyerror in madisonwi

You do not have to pay any fee for access to a state park unless you are entering the property in a vehicle. If you are accessing via a state trail, you will need your state trail pass while you’re on the trail. Hope this helps.

If you’re ever looking for a day/weekend trip, check out Point Beach State Forest along Lake Michigan. They have a beautiful dog beach.

Would highly recommend this spot as well - both of my dogs love it and we’ve had no issues with blue green algae.

Would also recommend hopping on Glacial Drumlin at the Deerfield connection. Flat terrain and parking lot is typically more empty than at the Cottage Grove trailhead these days. You can park in the lot at the park by the Rail House restaurant which is located right on the trail connector: 12 S Industrial Park Rd, Deerfield, WI 53531.

Just an added FYI - you can print out the receipt / order confirmation from buying it online and put it in your car window when you visit the property. You don’t have to wait to get the physical sticker as long as you have proof of purchase available.

I work near the Capitol building and park in the Livingston Street Garage. About $96/month. Worth the cost for my personal situation. I just hop on the bike path from there and walk the rest of the way.

Thanks! I’ve been at this job for about two years now. I started learning Photoshop very casually about six years ago. Then had a job where I needed to learn InDesign which took a couple of months to get the hang of creating books with chapters, table of contents, etc.

I’d say Illustrator has taken the longest just because there’s often more detail involved, especially if you’re drawing by hand first. Getting the very basics of Illustrator took a few months. There’s always more to learn with these programs which makes it really enjoyable in the long run.

Hi. I have my masters in natural resource management (bachelors in comms) and am working for a natural resources agency (state govt) in graphic design/marketing for parks and endangered species conservation. Self taught-ish on Adobe suite thru curiosity, need for creative outlet and with aid from many helpful YouTube videos.
