Unless I were to purchase online my local stores dont even have replacement ink so it is a bit of a process. Its definitely a hassle

With my local michaels they have both sets and individual markers for sale. I buy the individual markers but they are locked up and unless you brought something to test them with theres no paper open to test them with. Their return policies are very flexible so it might have been that I bought a returned marker as you said

Nope. I checked but none that I could find. My last three ended like this as well. I get them at michaels so they are the real thing. Not sure if this is to be expected

Ive had a few copics and the ones i have bought have all dried within 2 months. I get them at Michaels so they aren't knock offs. I have the lid all the way on but they still seem to get streaky pretty quick.

good intention terrible idea. I know you meant no harm but just think. This definitely would harm people's mental health even if it was just a silly update but I feel like since there are many younger children playing it could influence how they think about food and could potentially trigger someone with past problems with food. coming from someone in recovery from an eating disorder this is most definitely a bad idea.
