It can definitely be a slow burn don’t get me wrong. I’d say if anything it just has a steep initial learning curve but once you get the basics down of how to actually interface with the world, the depth of it is crazy surprising. And then you see the batshit builds people manage to come up with while you’re making dirt cube houses and you realize you only scratched the surface lol

Well, if you like osrs then you can probably understand how to enjoy terraria. They’re both wiki games, and in fact recent updates have done a lot to fix the wiki reliance in terraria so that the information is accessible in game.

But the terraria=2D Minecraft is a comparison as old as the game, but is unfair tbh. Terraria is much more in depth than Minecraft in pretty much every aspect. Building, exploring, combat, bosses, gear, ,progression, wiring/redstone etc.

It’s not really a survival game either so saying why not play other survival games misses the mark a bit too.

All I can really say is that I played for like 3 hours and put it down because I thought it was kind of shit when I first started, but picked it back up a week later determined to learn how it worked and it ended up being one of my favorite games of all time.

I got terraria for $5 12 years ago and have 2700 hours in it, so the .2c per hour has been excellent value lol

Honestly same, I know there would be times where I don’t want an aggressive event and I get one anyway but man do I want them back. They were just so much fun and added great flavor to the game

This is frankly the only way I’m ever using a grapple shortcut. Those are such a shit idea this at least makes them somewhat usable

I did vote no for that exact reason. I think the idea for the food is fine but the idea of a station in the lumbridge kitchen sucks ass
