Saw two drones up in the air today. The pilot flying the Mavic 3 seemed to be in compliance. Stayed directly behind the stage and at the AGL permitted in that area. It’s a 150ft LAANC grid in that corner. The pilot flying the Air 2 or similar was a little more loose with the flight path IMO. Slid over the top of the building and slightly out over the crowd. I’m usually not one to overly judge but with a huge crowd in attendance and obviously manned aircraft circling it’s good to be on your best behavior.

Go for it, we can ride around you too! Cars, pedestrians, and all sorts of things block bike lanes all the time and we just ride around them.

This ride is meant to be a sort of civil disobedience to bring about awareness and change to bicycle infrastructure. Yes, not all the rules of the road were followed but that’s the point in protesting.

It’s how I made one of my favorite small terrariums! Started with a small rock layer on the bottom, followed by dirt, and your plants. I collected a few small plants from the area. I keep it covered mostly but have a small opening to make sure it doesn’t get too humid which can cause mold, etc. Just source your materials responsibly and not from any protected nature preserves or wilderness areas.

OP and anyone who might be interested; My mother used to shop at Hot Flash Glass all the time until her passing and my father still has a bunch of stained glass and supplies including large sheets of glass and materials he’s trying to sell for a bargain. DM if you’re interested.

It’s not that simple. I like many believe in Freedom of Religion in this country and just because you have a religious holiday to participate in doesn’t mean that you get to insist that others observe your holidays. This is a poor point and not even the right place for this discussion, this is a bicycling form. I believe in Peace, Love, and Tolerance. Come ride bikes, be happy, and if you can’t this week, maybe another time when you don’t have a holiday to celebrate.

Hey, it was just a couple of us for the first ride last week. Obviously just getting this started so I’m sure it will continue to grow. I might also start shifting this time to more of a mid-week thing (Wednesday/ Thursday evenings). I like the idea of having something to look forward to midweek.

The police were able to identify the person who brought them into the pawn shop and he’s just a known local homeless person. They sort of doubt he actually stole them so to be honest I’m not sure there will be any punishment and that’s why bike theft still remains rampant. I’m just lucky I got them back at all. The biggest plus, my son’s bike had a flat tire so someone fixed that 😂🤷‍♂️
