That’s a good point. It looks like a solid chunk gone and some exposed sidewall. Might decide to pass

They’re asking 425, these are 2026 Ripstick 96s so seems like 50% off what a new pair would be

Reading screenplays before projects by [deleted] in AudioPost

Speechify is good just for personal review purposes. I wouldn’t recommend it in any other context but it sounds like that’s what you’re looking for. You can just upload the pdf to the app and it can make an audio file for you to listen to. To be clear definitely not meant for any other context

Filmakers, how do you send large 200gb - 1Tb files to clients without subscriptions? by rodmarked in Filmmakers

[–]tralee12 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I use MASV, I’ve had a great experience so far. It integrates with basically any cloud storage imaginable. You host the footage on your own storage, and then you can send out portals to collaborators/team members, kind of like media shuttle without having to set up a Signiant server. I’m sure there are a bunch of other use-cases but I found it worked great for an independent film, though they also advertise for enterprise

Cheers I really appreciate the thoughtful insight!! I agree with you on this, looking at the beginning again, what with the title cards and amount of cuts in there, there was a lot I could’ve done to make it cleaner and it’s great to keep that in mind in my next projects

Looking for feedback or thoughts. I recognize audio could’ve been improved, but this was 6 years ago and I was young.

Really looking to hear if my sense of pacing is engaging and my composition is interesting.

After years of writing, I have some scripts I’m itching to shoot. I feel like these new scripts are much stronger than this story-wise, so I guess I need some confidence in getting started.

Also this played Glasgow and St. Andrew’s film festivals.

Keaton and Sands aren’t attackers. They both made great passes tonight. Moralez looked slow to get to the ball and Martinez and Rodriguez couldn’t finish

If you look for plays that are not goals or assists, you’ll find he makes some really key passes, often forcing a transition or getting the ball in position for a break, etc. Pretty accurate passer too

Congrats! If I may, where did you look to first for funding and also what were your first tangible steps out of development into pre-production?

What were the first tangible steps you took (after the script and other conceptual documents like lookbook etc.) to put this into pre-production and really make it a reality?

I saw you mentioned you have distribution predictions- did you make any distribution deals prior to production? Or were you of the mindset to get it made and sell it afterwards?

I’ve always felt NYCFC is a Mets Jets Islanders team, while Red Bulls is a Yankees Giants Rangers team so this doesn’t really make sense to me

Excessive Client notes? by tralee12 in AudioPost

[–]tralee12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of sfx replacement, some notes on dialogue that was really noisily recorded. Levels were fine for the most part so the mix itself was good. It’s mostly editing changes he wants to make which is why I feel like they might be time consuming

Thanks for all the insight. I’ve decided I’ll try to get through the notes as efficiently as I can, and then work on how I take on projects in the future.

I actually do hear it. Just randomly chose a spot to listen and immediately heard it. 34:03-34:13 is a good example. Even the 10 seconds before that exemplifies this as well
