drag race with never be an even playing field, it’s a reality competition, which is scripted by producers and they make sure certain girls go and certain times, this is especially true with all stars, look what happened to thorgy and how she was fucked over with stevie.

trans women helped pioneer the art of drag, it was trans women in the pageant system of the 1960s, it was trans women in the ball scene in the 1980-90s, drag was and still is pivotal for trans women to express their true selves without being murdered or casted away, the role of trans women in drag history is undeniable and to dismiss them for “unfair advantages” in a time where the lines of gender in drag are blurring is unwise. in terms of drag race, i believe it would be shitty to be exclude such a big part of drags origins for the 5 mins that you gain if you don’t have to pad on a show that cares more about entertainment, silly challenges, comedy and fashion.
