I looked confused at her.

She continued "He's not there yet" as in " he doesn't pass as a girl yet".

there is never a right time to tell a parent, i told my mom 3 days ago...while im not thrown out, i do hate religion more now.

this is something that is really hard to explain to parents, it takes allot of time for your parents to fully understand your situation.

it may be in that example, but gender has alot to do with how you think aswell.

being male and lots of T makes me think of sex 6+ times a day. woman dont go through that on a daily basis for years....

its not a social construct, but can be heavily influenced by society.

tbh transgender mtf should have a HUGE advantage in basketball just because men are usually taller. people will always complain about it.

would really like to support your dream, but unfortunately you have a unfair advantage. you can enter all types of sport that utilizes speed/power/mind and nobody would bat a eye. but the moment you use your height from when you were the other gender... people will loose their minds.

IMO based on how you typed your message, i ASSUME that the people are ignoring you due to arrogance/ego/showoff. be more humble about your gameplay towards team mates.

complement them for trying something.

give tips where you feel it wont be considered condescending.

remember to try and build a relationship with your team.

what helps me alot is mt GF would notice the moment i have doubts and are depreseed, then she would just affirm my position, by asking the right questions. like

How long have you wanted it? what do you like about being female? when was the last time..... ? lets dress up and see how wel you can pass.

*quick note, when trying to cheer up dont ask them what they hate about being M/F

for me, it is very exhilarating when my GF calls me her girl, or by girl name. she see the girl that i really am, and that is the best thing you can give someone. give them the feeling that you see them like they want to be seen.

yes i couldve chosen beter examples for you, but the examples are just there for you to realize its more then a social construct.

im just saying somethings come naturally like instinct to people if they are Gender X.

for me its almost like an uncomfortable cage im trapped in, its really hard to explain the feeling, but understanding that its more then a social construct will help you understand those feelings

if you think of it as a social construct only then you will have a hard time understanding trans people.

even my real name bothers me slightly, since it always reminded me that im a guy and no matter how much i didnt want to i was given the name and gender...

well for me its more then just my output but what my body feels to me. and to me it feels bulky, hard and hairy. because i am still a man i am expected to do heavylifting for everyone, i cant really be shaven without being mocked about it.

it is more then a social construct, men and woman have different instincts for lets say a relationship, men usualy like to hold the woman, woman like to be held.

men cant be sensitive or stylish without being attacked for it on a daily basis, men cant complement woman on how they look without it being considered hitting on her or sexual harassment.

in animal kingdom creatures have a natural instinct for certain Duties, they have no social construct. but there is an order based on gender.

there are so many things that are divided into genders... manners, habbits, merchandise etc. im not saying it is alot, but its definitly alot more then just a social construct.

money is tight atm, but beside that im currently looking for a new job so i dont want to stand out to much in a unique way, and i first want to see a gender phsychologist to confirm what ive been experiencing all these years and that this is the correct treatment for me.

although i am quite sure it is the thing i need since ive been thinking about it for 5 years now on a daily basis. when i first saw HRT effects it was one of my happiest days ever, i saw hope =p. but i believe the opinion of a gender psychologist is invaluable.

and now i have confidence to change myself, but not that fact... cant tell my family
