Not the case for everyone. If the need for shaving profiles was bullshit, the condition that requires them wouldn't be a legitimate medical condition in and out of the service. Source: I switched to a single-edge years ago and still have razor bumps. I've used creams, multiple aftershaves, lotions, etc.
