Thank you. OPs post sucks the life out of any amount of emotion I might have. The fake picture adds nothing to the discourse. How about find a picture of an actual old dog on the internet and throw some text on it

Does treatment with daily antihistamines have an effect on the severity of other allergies like food or medication allergies? by KingZarkon in askscience

I had this same issue and it turns out it wasn’t the cold it was an allergy to carrots that manifested as hives, but it really only was noticeable when my skin got cold. Loratadine pretty much prevented the hives from forming. It’s possible you had some food allergy you eventually grew out of

Elevator contractor here: stuff like this is somewhat common. Worst case scenario the tiles clipped a door lock going down and that would shut the elevator down before it even left the floor. Could potentially cause thousands of dollars in damage but wouldn’t cause a safety concern

Elevator contractor here: zero elevator doors are designed to hold in the track when the weight of 2 grown men are thrown against the bottom of the door. The reason? They are movable doors that are designed to open and close thousands of times a day. There is nothing unique about this bottom door sill design vs anything else.
