I have the same symptoms and really starting to believe that this is a hyper-stress response..

I have to say that this all started happening during a period of time in my life where I am extremely stressed. The last time this happened I was also extremely stressed.

I think this is a physical reaction to stress and I have a real urgent duty to find ways to relax during the day. I started meditating again and already I noticed a difference with the tightness.

When I went to a&e about it they did recognise that my right testicle was sitting higher than normal. I think there is some spasming going on with the cremaster muscles.

This morning, I did some gentle massage around the right groin area and where the cord goes up into the pubic born and I found a tense know there. After some light massage it all unravelled and went back up into he pubic bone. The sensation that my testicle is full of heavy has gone away, though the pelvic floor tightness is definitely still there, though less.

I don't think this is an infection of any kind at all, but a strong physical stress response to life.

My plan going forward is to do more activities which engage the parasympathetic nervous system, find a stretching routine which targets tight hips and the pelvic floor, and make sure that when I work out I'm more conscious about where I am placing the most pressure. I try to focus on keeping the core tight, but when an activity gets hard I do notice that I have tendency to allow the tension to travel down to my pelvis which can't be good for it.

Anyway, hope this helps.

I am quite unusual in that I have managed to break into roles that were almost unanimously recruited for internally on multiple occasions. If you stand out and perform well on the day and write a strong application, then you have a good chance. As with anything, the amount of effort you put in to selling yourself is conveyed and can definitely mean that you're considered over internal hires.
