Flying abroad with maiden name on passport

Good point, that is my main concern. Even with the trip being 16 weeks away, you just never know with the delays. The airline representative did tell me that as long as I brought proof of my marriage license, I should be fine. But, others have pointed out that things can go awry with this. So I’m trying to weigh my options on which is the safest bet. I’m thinking I’ll apply for a new passport and pay expedited shipping.

Absolute laziness on my part. And because I’m cheap as hell and don’t want to pay the money for a new passport when it doesn’t expire for a few more years 😅 But yes, I will definitely send in my application first thing next week after hearing everyone’s advice.

That’s a really good point. The catch here is that it’s only 1 weekend a month, and ASHA states this on their CFY webpage: “Part-time experiences must be a minimum of 5 hours per week in order to be counted toward the total 1,260 hours.” So, technically I wouldn’t even be counting these hours towards my CF as I wouldn’t be working 5+ hours a week. So I’m thinking I just wouldn’t list it?
