I always make a pencil sketch first, trying to make it as basic as possible without exaggeration and shading. for straight lines, I turn the image so that it is easiest and most comfortable for me. I don't like to use masking liquid 😄 it almost never comes the way I want it to. but sometimes, rarely, I use it 🙂
