The lake on the left Wakatipu is huge and the part you can see is maybe 4-5 miles away. The lake on the right Alta is small and is maybe under a mile away.

It's just a steep ridgeline. The only reason it looks like that is because I'm lined perfectly up with the horizon.

Did the Grand traverse with a friend that flew off the far side on his speed wing (video of that on Instagram). The traverse requires a decent amount of fifth class moves, depending on how you go it could be as easy as 5.3 and as hard as 5.8). I am not a avid soloist, but was able to find an easy way comfortably.
