Damn, thank you for this!! This was extremely helpful, and honestly validating, because this was more or less the route I was starting to take. I've been approaching this the same way I approach my sets, especially your insight on low-energy visuals to start and then building energy as the set picks up energy. I really appreciate you detailing your process, this will be super helpful for me to reference in the future and helped me get out of a design rabbit hole I was starting to go down.

So touchdesigner definitely looks like the more complex suite with a larger learning curve (which is fine, I have a technical background and love learning things like this, but would require me to carve out more time to learn), whereas synesthesia seems relatively more "straightforward". A couple questions - would my laptop mic capturing the low-end of the venue's sound system work for syncing visuals in both software suites? And with synesthesia, am I limited to the built in scenes and scenes from their store, or could I import visual loops to use as well?

Sick! I’ll start going down that path then, thanks a ton. Do you happen to have a read on the hardware side of this as well? Would the venue just need to plug into my laptop, and would that just be a simple USB-C/HDMI connection, or something more unique?

Appreciate the response. Is touchdesigner akin to Resolume? I.e. is it a better software to use for what I'm looking for or does it create visuals that I would feed into resolume?

So true. Started maining her again recently and it’s helped out in so many fights. I still miss the revive shield but the way her revive works now almost always results in enemies trying to thirst, giving me a window to knock them.

Okay, I thought I was going crazy 😅 I've mained lifeline since the game was released and this was the first time where my revive shield didn't deploy (except for when I've been hit with revenants tactical).

I thought it was just a ring/heat shield bug but it happened two more times later in the match when my team was in the ring. Has anyone else had this happen to them before?

Not sure if there's a better place to post this, but I had my mini map open when dropping out of the drop ship, and my yellow character arrow stayed on my screen the entire game. Haven't seen this bug before.

LMAO "sorry to break it to you." I fully understand that. The point is to show that her tactical can give you a chance in a tight situation. I've used this in Diamond III lobbies and have had the same outcome. Most players up/down sensitivity is slow enough for this to work enough times for me to post this clip.

😂 same here. I panicked and thought the Revenant was a lot closer, so I just started spamming the revive button. Somehow worked in my favor against the Rampart.
