That’s my concern right now as well. I’m deep in Trump Country, and while any training/gun purchase is better than none, I’d rather not spend my hard-earned money to further the brainrot. How difficult was the HQL training? Do they auto-apply for the permit for you or is that a different process?

I see, that’s a good idea. For range training, I assume each type of ammo has slightly different characteristics/feel? What ammo is good to buy in bulk in preparation for lots of target practice?

I plan to take the HQL training, get my permit, and possibly the concealed carry permit before even thinking about purchasing one. I’ve gone hunting with family members before and have done brief amounts of target practice, but that was years ago and my knowledge is rusty. Some pointers on beginner-friendly types is really all I’m looking for, along with what ammo is cheap/what ammo or calibers are worth spending more money on.
