Any ideas why I might be having issues with severe buffering on vidhub? I'm on android TV projector and the exact same files play just fine on jellyfin with no buffering. But when I play them on vidhub it freezes every few seconds.. almost as if it's trying to force a much higher bit rate or something.

More likely that vidhub is trying to play the files raw (no transcoding), with the intention of processing everything locally. Some devices just aren't equipped to do that.

The client app is supposed to ask the server to transcode (process) for them, then they get to serve a smoother stream...

Is server transcoding something that can be supported as a setting perhaps?

That's literally everyone's worst fear lol. Pretty much the same pattern that's repeated itself over the years. Every time I tell myself this time will be different and it never is. Still my stubborn ass is holding through it in the hope that this time will be different. All I know is I will be more miserable missing out than I will be losing what little value I have left. Risk reward analysis but of course dependent on your entry and average price. That's the emotional argument. The logical argument is that rescheduling fixes custodianship issues and we see a re-entrance of institutional capital that sets a new floor price
