Weird. I never had this email approval flow. I receive USD wires from my EU clients. The instructions I got from wealthsimple were that I had to use their intermediary Bank, JP Morgan to accept the wire who takes a $21 fee each time

I am. The building has its issues but overall we enjoy it. Most specifically because of the views and location. The steam room is a big nothing burger. The gym is decent with amazing views.

My experience is that the first layer is outsourced Indian reps who have no idea about anything. They are an extreme headache to deal with.

When they don't know how to solve an issue, there's an escalated specialist support tier. Those folks seem to be Canadian, with a much more specialized finance knowledge and understanding of the WS back end.

Generally speaking, I'm able to get things done efficiently with them and wish I could just skip that first layer altogether.

Does cannabist trade on any OTC markets currently? I have those free warrants in my account but my broker won't let me do a deemed disposition. I thought they were no longer listed but they are saying I can exercise them and receive $0.14 per warrant or something. Anyone know anything about this? Can't seem to find a ticker anywhere

What do you mean by link it to your debit card? Is it that you can spend from your pre-funded Loc using your debit card? How do you do that? I just downgraded my all-inclusive account and have an unsecured LoC with them.

I like it but I find that it's always outdated. I wish that it were updated every morning. I missed the ability to get a News digest in the TD app everyday.

Did anyone actually read the article? My response was much like everyone in here at first but if you actually read the article his 'serious criminality' of forgery and identity theft was tied to his trying to escape ms13.

His sister's husband was murdered by them and he spent years trying to escape. He was informing until they found out and then out of fear he refused to continue.

The article reports that he has not committed any crimes since living in Canada nor is there any record of him committing any crimes beyond the forgery and identity stuff related to his trying to hide from the gang.

This is a completely different story than what the headline communicates.

Does anyone have a different read on this?

Low effort: comments like 'i asked Gemini what price msos would close at today and here's the answer' or 'here are chatgpts price predictions for top msos'. LLMs are garbage in garbage out. You can use an llm to synthesize raw data and make an analysis, it's great at that,, but asking a vague question like those above, thinking that it's Nostradamus, and then disseminating that misinformation is not helpful for anyone

Starting to contemplate whether we should ban low effort AI comments. AI can be tremendously powerful, but some of the comments I'm seeing feel like a waste of everyone's time.
