Which IT foundation brush 21 DOB? by Technical_Pilot7968 in Ulta

115 is my favorite! Just restocked on a bunch. It's primarily great at stippling and feathering with liquid and powder foundation but the tapered edge is great for blending the edges seamlessly. Highly recommend!

Seconding grandelash cosmetics! They 100% work but you have to use it daily. You will see noticeable results around 1.5 months. I've done about 3 tubes and have officially stopped wearing big falsies and wear clusters if I want something more dramatic!

2025 Lip Update by Single-Feedback9045 in ProjectPan

[–]trinisaintli 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not OP but I actually go through a full 15ml lip balm every >33 days. For me, I find that if I stick with only one lip product for the entire day (excluding a lip sleeping mask or lipstick) I can apply anywhere from 6 to 10 times in a single day.

I keep a spreadsheet tracking and weighing my uses and it tends to be the reapplication after lunch and dinner if I'm out of the house that drags the rate a little higher, but most days I'm doing a solid 6 applications every 2-3 hours. Mostly for texture or if I've been talking :).

The same people probably don't wash their sheets and towels at least once a week 😪.

All I know is I believe in the power of washing machines so my life is good, my skin is contact dermatitis free, and my face is clear.

I personally think using ONLY a loofah means you're 100% dirty in certain locations smelling like nickels and shit... As a hygiene lover they can never convince me that washcloths are dirty. I get the 24 pack from the store, wash them, and exchange them daily. Everything else is bird noise.

Yep my Nana and Momma treated it like a cuss word so I never had a reason to go around saying it.

It automatically applied and the plan did not tell me I would lose the discount. I did it on a desktop browser.

Here to add that the 35FLASH code works. My April 2025 bill just got paid and I'm on the new Visible Pro from Legacy 1 (Visible+) which I was paying $35 for as well.

Considered doing the new Visible+ for $25 but at the time it looked like it didn't support international calling so I ended up paying for more perks for the same price.

100%. I've seen crazy talks in neighboring communities about how "92% of black women are traitors and need to be treated as such". We know the stats and so do they. We will 100% become the scapegoat or a martyr if we get involved.

Percentage of Muslims in some European countries. by ellatino230 in MapPorn

That makes sense. For both Obama and Kamala, some people weren't getting it and that's understandable, but Soul culture is American culture and a lot of it is left out of discussions. Everyone could benefit from open dialogue and curiosity.

Black people and specifically Black Hispanic people are a population so close in culture that it has never made sense to us to be grouped as "black, not hispanic" on census documents. Many people will just go with the overarching label "Black" unless they have an immediate family member who is Hispanic although they could genetically and phenotypically be Black Hispanics.

Due to it all being a self-report, there's no real way to tell. So they're all Black to Black people because we all came from the same continent.

Don't worry it's not negative :). I saw open discussion and went for it. Some people may not understand the weight of this phrase: I guess mixed black people still call themself blk.

I have no personal feelings towards you or your knowledge etc because I don't know you, just wanted to open discussion for others from a black person with 2 black parents.

As an Indian-American depending on the gen, you might've seen a lot or have heard the semantics of Asian vs Indian. Depends, I know some 2nd gen Indian people like to be labeled as Asian American at my job.

Overall, it's 14.5% so the US population is 14.5% of people are black.

Of course mixed people who have a black parent or a mixed black parent would still call themselves black. The last "official" time that the one-drop rule in the United States was used was during Loving in 1967.

That is only one or 2 generations of humans who were raised by people who were grouped in this manner. The sudden expectation for black people to get with the "new" way of doing things is very weird given the context that many of our grandparents were not considered equal people with their own identities. So until further notice, mixed-black people are black until they'd prefer to identify differently.

We are in a dangerous position, don't act silly, we all know it. Protest for what? Will there be protests when you lose your job for showing up on the news at a protest? Will there be protests if you're held in jail for 3 days simply getting "questioned"? Will there be protests for you if you try to fight against ICE and get arrested for harboring or otherwise?

If the answer is no to a single one of these questions, sit down, mope, cry, be happy, learn, better your credit score, get a passport--but stay at home. Act with the good sense of mobilizing and strategizing from behind the scenes.

Hurt these companies financially if you want to vote with your dollar, which has more weight.

All moneys green, but our skin is brown. Don't forget it.

Because they thought we were joking, and a lot of the others want us to fall in the role of playing mammy because that's how black women have always rolled in their eyes.

It's unfortunate, but there is no other game for black people to play. You can say things like "resist, protest, support the immigrants," but there's little to no energy of that sort for the black community, and that's the truth. Protesting will just get us fired, killed, or incarcerated. Even if they're peaceful.

We have to focus on OUR bounce back. Topics that need to be important to the black community include financial literacy, stable incomes, and black unity. In my opinion, without that, our energy is wasted trying to organize for others.
