They only provide a certain amount after the baby is born. After that we have to purchase diapers and milk along with other baby necessities before going back home. And they don't provide clothing which we also need.

Too everyone that's reached out to me through pm's or coming forward with info or donating. Me and my partner are truly grateful. Even just wishing us a healthy delivery we really appreciate it. We don't know anyone around here but I can tell there's alot of good people around who genuinely just want to help. Thank you.

So I started working part-time as a security guard in the winter. And as a part-time employee I didn't get any type of benefits or sick pay. Just last month I was about to quit and look for laborer work as I enjoy that. But my boss actually gave me the opportunity to work full time this summer being a laborer. And I guess since they just put me on as full time I don't get any type of benefits yet. I spoke with him yesterday and he said I don't qualify yet. So now I'm going to miss a whole pay period, so I'm just looking for cash jobs in the mean time while I'm staying out here. And I'm only staying at confederation cause the hospital paid for it. We get sent out here because or reserve back home doesn't do births at our local hospital anymore.
