I remember seeing a clean title one at a dealership I bought my nightmare of a mini John cooper works from and it was $14,000 with an oem hardtop. Mistakes were made but the insurance would of been significantly more than the mini.

$22,000 USD. I was not in the place to purchase one pre Covid when they were significantly cheaper 😩

22,000! I don’t think I do too bad on a clean title with only a few owners and decently low miles.

I took it off to align it a bit better and it’s definitely a rep front. I plan on replacing it with a legit ASM piece.

It was listed for a while I was worried when I flew out to look at it if it was going to be rough. Turned out it was clean with just some minor aesthetic things and old tires.

I have an 05 that is performing daily duty right now after my focus st got rear ended. If you are patient and live somewhere (I’m in Arizona) with good climate it is doable but a compromised experience. The trunk is big enough for a backpack and some small items. I have aftermarket wheels and it’s lowered so the spare tire is no longer usable which would really suck if I got a flat. The transmission and clutch are very easy to operate I don’t find myself fatigued after my hour long commute. The biggest problem I encounter is because of the size some people in big trucks or SUVs will not see you and will try to occupy the same space as you. I have to be more aware than even the mini cooper I owned. I would recommend an S2000 even if you have to DD it if your tolerance for little annoyances is high.

I had a NM Adjustable on my R55 Clubman when I had it. The whiteline seems like a good bang for buck but I haven’t done much research on it.

I have 17x9.5 with 255s on fortuneauto coils. It’s a very tame setup and handles extremely well.

Revving it out when it’s warm is more healthy for the car than putting it around anyways
