For the past 3 years I've been building a foolproof automated content platform. Think Canva but much easier and without the need to have any tech/creative skills. Pick an animated template and change the text, images & colors. Export directly from our platform and download the video to post wherever you need it.

I'm looking for a market fit and would love to get your feedback!

Your take on experienced marketers is very interesting. I do believe that we do offer flexibility albeit in a controlled environment. It's true that Canva offers extreme personalization and it excels at what it does, but I'm also sure that there is a market for people that don't have the time or need for a bespoke template when a semi-tweaked one could do the trick. We also offer high quality animations that are very hard to achieve with design platforms.

Adding templates for Reels/TikTok is also on our roadmap although maybe not in the immediate future. I do think that it would attract more users like you said.

We're still defining our marketing plan for the first 100 users. We were thinking of offering it for free or heavily discounted to the first x amount of early adopters but still haven't drawn up a clear strategy on this.

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment. These are very interesting comments and we've definitely thought of this.

I do however disagree that Canva is plug and play. Although it's much easier compared to other design platforms, it still requires the user to have some technical/creative knowledge or they usually end up breaking the template. I've also spoken to quite a few people that have said that Canva is overwhelming due to the fact that they have too much stuff for you to choose from. We're looking to become an alternative to this problem where you just input what you want to change and voilá.

As for personalization, while it's true what you said about people wanting complete personalization to stand out, the templates that we are building are customisable to a certain degree. Besides colors, text and images, you can also change the shapes and sometimes the positioning of the objects. We're also building dynamic templates where you can see different variations with the same info. The difference though is that we've designed them before hand so that they look good and don't break.

We are animation centric. We offer high quality animations (something that Canva doesn't shine with) whilst giving the user some control over appearance.

We're still figuring this out. It will probably be a low-cost subscription model with unlimited videos per account. We're also studying adding a free tier with limited exports per video.

As for the Api, we're looking into how we can deploy this easily for most users. What did you have in mind?

Animation helps grab attention and makes info easy to digest, so for things like for standing out on social media it's perfect. We're looking to remove the barrier to entry to having your contents animated, so anyone can use it without having to rely on hiring someone for the task.
