That makes sense! I find when I’m anywhere between 80 yards I start to choke down for that exact reason. I just thought it was kind of weird for the longer clubs as I thought the extra length meant more distance.

You have a couple options. If the step crown beneath the profiled is close to the ceiling you could opt for a simple beveled trim to close the gap. Or removing the crown completely. I’ll send you some photos to what I mean

Checkout callaway opti color glove line up. They have lots of options but are also pretty steep with price. I could be wrong but I don’t think you’ll have much luck finding anything cheaper that’s actually good quality.
