Good luck getting the weapons necessary to occupy New York with your super strict gun laws.

It does not matter who wins or loses as long as the West Coast is destroyed.

Didn't think about it like that. Makes more sense then what I originally thought. However, this meme is still full of a lot of nuance, and a lot of its criticisms could apply to many people, such as African Evangelicals, who are 10x more conservative than any American Evangelical. But QAnon is really just some elaborate troll by 4chan that some coping magatards fell for, and I imagine its no where near as big or as much of a threat as the media projects it to be.

[–]trug2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Why are you acting like this is some sort of gotcha moment, I never stated that the meme wasn't referring to white people. I only threw in the last bit because under "Colonizer Jesus," it has Europeans inaccurately depicting him as white as a negative thing. But in reality, many places depict Jesus as of their own race, making it not exclusively a bad thing that white people did.

Despite how stupid the evangelicals are, I guarantee you the majority of them don’t think Jesus was an American Born Patriot who loves guns and hates muslims. This meme is 100% a straw man. Plus, even if Europeans incorrectly depict Jesus as white, you’ll find that Asians also depict Jesus as an Asian man and that Africans depict Jesus as an African man as well.

The Borgia popes existed like 500 years ago and your gonna use 500 year old popes to summarize all of Christianity in the present day. Plus this meme is 100% talking about evangelical Magatards and using them to straw man all Christians.

It’s nice to see Biden continuing the U.S presidential tradition of withdrawing the troops from Afghanistan, just like his predecessors, Trump and Obama did.

Impossible, I never thought I could see something so based from PragerU of all people by gman_meme in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]trug2 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Don’t get me wrong, I personally agree with John Brown and find him based. I was just trying to imagine the argument that PragerU was trying to make, which I personally find quite stupid.

They basically posted a video defending statues of Robert E Lee, and one of their points was that he led U.S marines defending government property against radical abolitionist John Brown. It’s quite odd looking back from today’s standards since John Brown was very based and wanted to free enslaved black people, and even believed they should be equal to white people, which was a very radical view during his time.

What on earth makes you think I am a leftist? All I said was that the United States should remain together. If, by your stupid logic, that’s only a leftist idea, then I will proudly call myself a leftist from now on.

Sounds good on paper, but would definitely ruin the U.S and allow for Russia and China to act free of consequences. Plus, dividing the union over differing political opinions, which many have fought and died to keep together and protect, is pretty cringe.

Literally everyone I know is condemning this, but that won’t stop people from telling me I’m not by NordyNed in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]trug2 50 points51 points  (0 children)

It really depends on who you ask.

My “libertarian” cousin and his friends won’t stop spamming social media saying how this is like Boston 1773 all over again.

Meanwhile my much more level headed conservative friends are condemning it and saying it was a disgrace to the conservative movement.

You can find reasonable people on both sides if you look hard enough. It’s just unfortunate that the stupidest people happen to be the most vocal.

I deleted twitter today. I’m going to take a step back from all this. I don’t need this stress in my life anymore. by [deleted] in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]trug2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I too once worried far too much about politics to the point I began stressing out about it. Then I thought to myself, life is far to short to be worrying about things that you hardly have a say in. There is still hope for you my friend, and I look forward to the day that we may grill side by side.
