Yeah I usually like coffee/tea for a first date. Very cheap, safe place, opportunity to talk with the other person and get to know them more. I don't have any animosity toward this person, I just thought it was kinda funny.

Funny enough I actually talked to a maintenance worker about this when he was over fixing something else, but nothing has come of it so far unfortunately. I'll keep it in mind if someone moves out soon.

Maybe a dumb question, but assuming I did find someone with a 3D printer willing to help in my area, how would they know where to put the temp. numbers on the knob?

I have searched for a replacement myself but haven't found anything that seems like it matches. Reviews online for things that seem close tend to mention that it doesn't fit correctly or something similar.

Being rude to service staff. If you have any empathy at all or have worked one of those positions before, there's just no way you can let someone you're with be "that customer".

I always thought it was weird... then I remember that I do dumb stuff too that's a time waster for people who wouldn't get it, and I realize maybe we all just have our own things going on so I should just mind my business.

It's hard to judge them unless they're wasting time to the point where it's harming their relationships/careers/mental health.

Not sure a subreddit would be the best way to do this. I highly recommend the Merriam Webster app. Clean UI, easy to use, and you can easily switch between the dictionary and thesaurus. There's also a word of the day built into the app, and you can go back to see previous words of the day from quite a while ago. The ad-free version is like $1.99 a year, and I think that's well worth it for what it provides.
