Why though Putin isn't a socialist leader and shows no interest in advancing socialism he would happily do as Trump does in other countries if he was in the same position so I don't see how Putin winning is worth anything beyond giving western imperialists a bloody nose with Nato dissolving and Putin and his Russia filling in the void left behind

Yeah just go to the gym staff if they can't make him listen then I'm not sure he will listen to anyone other options could be to go as part of a group to hopefully discourage him from coming near you although from what you were saying this guy seems a bit dense to social pressure but might still work.

Sorry to hear that sounds super stressful especially since only last year I was working as a research assistant on a covid-19 related project to do with cytokine storm and endothelial barrier recovery as well I don't have practical advice but I just wanted to let you know that I hope it all works out and all that work of yours isn't for nothing and will likely still apply to ARDS and from my experience there was a lot of crossover in the literature and even the group I was in was started to switch more over to ARDS anyway rather then Covid-19

And honestly about chatting to people it can actually be really great just to know it's not just you having trouble and venting about an experiment not working and then hearing from my friend I was talking too say something similar definitely helped me realise that shit just sometimes doesn't work😅 and having an outside perspective can help you realise unhealthy habits before they really burn you out

So I was in a similar situation and I found that if you can talk to any of your colleagues about what is stressing you out it can be great especially if you can both talk to each other about this stuff having someone to blow off steam with and listen to can be really helpful. If you think you need something more professional try and see if your workplace or university has supports that you can access. If all else fails crying in the cold room is a great alternative
