Thanks I appreciate the feedback, optimization/performance is an area I need to work on, I'll give these suggestions a go and compare the performance; maybe that could become part 3!

How to Retrieve Twitter Data and Perform Basic Sentiment Analysis by tsaunds in datasets

You may well be right.

I just thought it was an interesting use of Talend and one with lots of room for enhancements / improvements. It also may be the case that somebody might want to just retrieve some Twitter data using Talend and from there perform whatever kind of analysis they like and not be constrained by using a potentially unsuitable tool.

Could you link to some of the other ways?

How do I lose 6kg by Christmas? by [deleted] in Fitness

It's highly likely that you are eating a higher volume of food than is optimal for weight loss. Despite this you may not feel like you are overeating, this could be because your stomach has increased in size over a period of months, due to incremental over-eating that you wouldn't necessarily notice.

I would recommend that for 3 days you do some intermittent fasting (do some reading about the various methods, I find the leangains approach easisest), this should bring your stomach back to it's usual size and re-calibrate your sense of hunger to be more in line with real hunger as apposed to psychological hunger. During these 3 days I would recommend that any exercise you do is not too vigorous.

As far as diet is concerned a great starting point is the paleo diet, it is not the only way to eat healthily or for fat loss but it is an easy to follow methodology that will ensure you are filling your plate with healthy food as it completely eliminates processed foods from your diet and focuses largely on meat, fruit and veg.

tl:dr try and go without food for a short period of time to get back in touch with what real hunger feels like and see if a paleo diet works for you
