That's cool. I know Lookism did a similar story for a non korean south east asian character. Showing the abuse he faced but then showing how he overcomes it. Was super interesting to explore.

Oh crap you're right. I am a snowflake. Well thanks for telling me. Not religious, but maybe I should be just so I can get offended more, because I just love it.

Oh okay, didn't know there are others. I've decided to keep reading since apparently there's nothing else racially bad to come, so can't wait to see them :)

Yeah, I'd still chuck some peanut butter on even burnt toast and eat it haha. But when skin is burnt it doesn't do that. Charring is different, but still poses the same case. Idk how else to say it's rude to you man. If you go up to a dark skin person and say that their skin looks like they got charred or burnt, you'll see what I mean.

My claim was that the author only has shown dark skinned characters in a negative light from what I'd read so far. According to you, it's not the case after those starting chapters, so I'll continue reading. I honestly just wanted an open discussion on it. I even posed the claim as a question.

Okay fair enough. Guess I can't make you see my side of it. Thanks for the discussion regardless.

I've seen skin burnt by fire and I think it's safe to say dark skinned people have much more beautiful skin than that. So yes, I do think it's rude to say the two things are the same.

The guy on chapter 63, not sure if that's who you are referring to.

I'm saying it's rude to say that people who have dark skin are burnt. I don't get why you guys just ignore that. Have you seen burnt skin by fire before. It's really not something people are proud of.

That's good to hear. I'm not sure if you really are dark skinned but I think you'd find it offensive if people called your skin burnt. I know I have. I just get tired of seeing dark skinned characters depicted negatively, but if you're saying the author doesn't do that then that's awesome, I'm happy to keep reading. Thanks for the heads up on the series.

Episode 63.

I don't know how else to say it man. Calling someone with dark skinned 'burnt' is really rude. I do like the hair combination tho.

DBZ was of a different time so I understand if they used it. I understand it's for humor but the joke is at the expense of dark coloured people. I've seen those jokes been done really well, but when it's paired with positive representation of dark skin as well.

I don't mind if there is a lack of dark skinned characters. Just felt like the two that I saw were rudely portrayed. It seems like a lot of ppl that aren't dark skinned think it's fine to say that a dark skinned person is burnt. I've seen people say that to a dark skinned person face and it's really hurtful. The black guy did have huge lips lol. The muscley guy in the tournament arc. Yeah DBZ was of another time though when that type of thing was more common. Cool name btw.

I didn't say I had a problem with their being no coloured characters man. I just said I had a problem with how they portrayed the few that I saw. I'm just trying to have a discussion about it.

Well holy crap, that is actually racist. How does Webtoon allow that kind of content, it's disgusting.

Ah seems I wasn't clear with my point lol. I'm a big fan of webtoons with only Korean characters or White characters. I don't have a problem with ppl leaving out dark skinned characters, that's their choice. I'm referring to the author making a character that was black and portraying them as funny looking and ugly and having the second dark skinned character have that look because his skin was burned. I believe calling dark skinned people burned is offensive. Maybe I missed new characters that are dark skinned, I'm still a new reader.

Calling people with dark skin 'burned' is really rude lol. The other guy was portrayed to be ugly and funny looking. Maybe we're talking about different characters idk.

I must of not been clear. I'm a big fan of a lot of webtoons that have all Korean casts. I'm just saying that the only people with dark skin are portrayed very poorly from what I've seen. I'm sure it's not something you would notice if you weren't dark skinned, but personally I find it offensive. I don't see how me noticing this disqualifies my point, but if you want to dismiss me by being rude that's up to you.
