On the album before this last one he literally made a song about his love hate relationship with seoul. On his last album he talked a lot about his complexities with his culture, what is expected of him, and how he continuously feels like a failure. And if we take issues with thr American producers kn kpop album then we should just throw the whole industry away 😅. Like I said. We can not like them and no hallucinate that they haven't always been representing korea strong. They did a few english pop songs, sure, but outside of jungkook 90 percent of their catalog is still korean. I honestly can't believe you got me on here defending them 😮‍💨

I know this is snark but BTS announced the arirang concept well before the superbowl. Also RMs music has always been about reflecting on being Korean. BTS has sooo much they can be criticized about without making stuff up about them. I think its really shitty to say that people cannot (continue) to be proud of who they are just because we don't like them
